Aimed at the comprehensive and excellent education of all of its learners, Beaulieu College in Kyalami, Midrand, has continuous views over the valley, creating the ideal locale for the enrichment of young people.

The finest staff merges traditional teaching methods with contemporary, giving their learners the most current skills and means by which to study and retain knowledge more effectively. This aids students in the applicability of these skills to daily life - something they will utilise beyond the walls of the school. As part of its commitment to academic eminence, the College offers all pupils academic support in all of their subjects free of charge. Indeed, academics are a pivotal element within the school, and Beaulieu College has a number of cutting edge offerings available that set it apart on this front.

These offerings include a specialised Maths department that provides Accelerated Mathematics for Grades 8 and 9, and Applied Programme Mathematics to pupils in Grades 10 to 12. For those more creatively inclined, the College has a prolific Art and Culture Department, and a Drama Department that is notably rewarded at the annual RAPS Festival at Wits.

Undoubtedly one of the most distinctive traits of the curriculum at Beaulieu College is the inclusion of Equine Studies. The College is located in an environment where there is the
highest number of horses per square kilometre and the College has paid heed to the variety and number of careers available in the industry. This includes Veterinary Science, Equine Dentistry, Horse Riding Instructorship, Equine Nutritionists and Farriers, to name a few. The presence of horses on the property makes practical application of these skills fun and easy - giving learners fundamental hands-on experience. Outside of the classroom, the College has gone on to have many of its learners class at the top of equine sporting competitions, both locally and internationally.

In addition to its academic focus, Beaulieu College is actively involved in its environmental and community programmes. The wetland on the school property provides learners with untold opportunities when it comes to their annual environmental projects. These efforts are complemented by the fact that the College is instrumental in large-scale recycling of school waste, such as plastic and tins.
